1 1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup Crisco
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
TOPPING:
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour 9"x13" pan.
TOPPING: Mix sugar, flour and nuts. Blend in melter butter. Set aside.
CAKE: Mix dry ingredients. Cut in Crisco. blend egg, milk and vanilla and combine with dry ingredients just till well-mixed. Sprinkle with topping mixture. bake for 25 minutes.
